Everyone, meet the latest addition to the Hoote fam, Assistant Editor Cody Schlabaugh! While Cody has always had a strong interest in the editorial process (he was self-taught before attending university!), he graduated from Columbia College with a degree in Photography, landing him a previous gig as a studio manager at an art gallery and photographic print studio here in Chicago. After eventually making the decision to switch gears and pursue his lifelong interest in film editing, he’s eager to dive in and see what kinds of exciting opportunities lie ahead. And we’re just as excited to have him! Outside of the office, Cody enjoys biking long distances, hiking & camping, oh – and he can spin on his head. Please join us in giving him a very warm welcome!
